Airshow – 2026
වෙසක් ප්රදීප ගුවන් සරුංගල් සංදර්ශනය – 2026
ශ්රී ලංකා රාවණ ගුවන් සරුංගල් සංගමය (RAKASL) විසින් සංවිධානය කරනු ලබන “වෙසක් ප්රදීප ගුවන් සරුංගල් සංදර්ශනය – 2026” වෙසක් සංස්කෘතිය, නිර්මාණශීලීත්වය, ආලෝකකරණය සහ සරුංගල් කලාව එක්කරන සුවිශේෂී ජාතික වෙසක් උත්සවයකි.
මෙම විශේෂ රාත්රී ගුවන් සරුංගල් ප්රදර්ශනය 2026 මැයි 26 සිට 30 දක්වා, සෑම දිනකම සවස 7.00 සිට රාත්රී 10.00 දක්වා පැවැත්වේ.
සහභාගීවන්නන්ට පහත අංග ඇතුළත් කරමින් වෙසක් තේමාවට අදාළ ආලෝකමත් සරුංගල් නිර්මාණය කර ගුවන්ගත කළ හැකියි:

ආරක්ෂක උපදෙස්:
❌ ගිනි භාවිත කරන හෝ විවෘත ගිනි ආලෝක උපකරණ භාවිත කිරීම දැඩි ලෙස තහනම්ය.
සියලුම සහභාගීකරුවන්ගේ වෙසක් ආලෝකමත් සරුංගල් සහ පහන් නිර්මාණ RAKA නිල Facebook පිටුවේ ප්රදර්ශනය කරනු ලබන අතර, එය සාමය, නිර්මාණශීලීත්වය සහ සංස්කෘතික එකමුතුව ප්රවර්ධනය කරනු ඇත.

❌ අධි ධාරිතා විදුලි රැහැන් (High Tension Power Lines) ආසන්නයේ සරුංගල් ගුවන්ගත කිරීම තහනම්ය.
❌ ජාත්යන්තර හෝ දේශීය ගුවන් තොටුපළ, ගුවන් පථ හෝ ගුවන් මෙහෙයුම් ප්රදේශ ආසන්නයේ සරුංගල් ගුවන්ගත කිරීම සපුරා තහනම්ය.
❌ ශ්රී ලංකා රජය විසින් ප්රකාශයට පත් කර ඇති තහනම්, ආරක්ෂිත හෝ සීමා කළ ප්රදේශවල සරුංගල් ගුවන්ගත නොකළ යුතුය.
❌ මාර්ග, ජනතා තදබද සහිත ප්රදේශ හෝ අනාරක්ෂිත ස්ථාන ආසන්නයේ සරුංගල් පියාසර කිරීමෙන් වළකින්න.
✅ සියලුම සහභාගීවන්නන් මහජන ආරක්ෂාව, ගුවන් ආරක්ෂාව සහ විදුලි ආරක්ෂාව පිළිබඳ සම්පූර්ණ වගකීමෙන් ක්රියා කළ යුතුය.
✅ RAKA හි සංවිධායක මණ්ඩලය අනාරක්ෂිත සරුංගල් ක්රියාකාරකම් සඳහා කිසිදු වගකීමක් නොදරනු ඇත.

Vesak Illuminating Kite Airshow – 2026
The Ravana Aviation Kite Association of Sri Lanka (RAKASL) proudly presents the “Vesak Illuminating Kite Airshow – 2026”, a unique national Vesak celebration combining Buddhist culture, creativity, illumination, and the traditional art of kite flying.
This spectacular night airshow will be held from 26th to 30th May 2026, daily from 7.00 PM to 10.00 PM.
Participants are invited to create and fly illuminated Vesak-themed kites featuring:
Buddhist religious messages
Vesak lantern decorations
Illuminated artistic designs inspired by Vesak traditions
Allowed Lighting Systems:
✅ LED lighting systems
✅ Inverter-powered AC bulbs
Safety Regulations:
❌ Fire-based lighting items or open flames are strictly prohibited.
All participating Vesak illuminating kites and flying lantern creations will be showcased on the official RAKA Facebook page, promoting creativity, peace, and cultural unity.
🏆 Competition Awards
The competition will recognize the Top Three Best Vesak Illuminating Flying Kites with attractive cash prizes:
🥇 1st Place – Rs. 25,000/-
🥈 2nd Place – Rs. 15,000/-
🥉 3rd Place – Rs. 10,000/-
In addition, all participants will receive a valuable E-Certificate issued by RAKASL.

⚠️ Special Safety Instructions for Competitors
All participants are required to strictly follow the safety instructions below:
❌ Flying kites near high-tension electrical power lines is strictly prohibited.
❌ Flying kites near international or domestic airports, airfields, runways, or aviation operational areas is strictly forbidden.
❌ Kites must not be flown within prohibited, restricted, or protected areas declared by the Government of Sri Lanka.
❌ Avoid flying kites near roads, crowded public areas, or unsafe locations.
✅ All participants are responsible for maintaining public safety, aviation safety, and electrical safety at all times.
✅ The organizing committee of RAKA shall not be held responsible for any unsafe kite-flying activities.
